Lead Consultant
As your Architectural Consultant, we will act as Lead Consultant on your project. With our expertise we take this role and responsibility seriously and we will manage the design stage and work with consultants to ensure when the drawings get to site, they are fully coordinated.
We have a trusted network of consultants we like to work with, so we can always assist on providing you with the best team for your project. We work closely with Structural/Civil Engineers, Building Control, SAPS Assessors, etc.
Planning
Usually, our scope of works commences when planning has been attained. However, we can assist with planning conditions that relate to architectural design, produce non-material amendments and can help any further design changes that may be required.
With a large consultancy base and with our own knowledge and expertise we can assist with all manner of planning applications, from the design of an extension for your home to a field where new homes may soon be built.
BSA – Principal Designer
We offer support with your project by acting as Principal Designer under the Building Safety Act.
We plan, manage, and coordinate the design work to achieve compliance with the Building Regulations, ensuring building safety and regulatory requirements are integrated from the outset.
We establish clear communication and effective coordination across the design team throughout the design and construction phases. This ensures compliance is embedded from the earliest stages, with roles and responsibilities clearly defined and understood.
Our focus is on a well-managed compliance system that protects your programme and supports smooth progress through approvals, and gives you confidence and peace of mind that your statutory duties are being properly discharged.
Detailing & Detailed Design
The majority of projects we work on require construction detailing to aide those on site construct what we, and the client, envisage.
These are in the scale of generally 1:5/1:10 with annotation and dimensions to key areas without any confusion or conflictions to the main specification. Commitment to sustainability and functionality is grounded within our values.
