Since finishing a degree from Chelmsford Anglia Ruskin University in Architectural Technology (2:1, BSc Hons) in 2012, James has gone on to work in the construction industry for approximately 10 years.

James has worked for small private practices and larger developers over the span of his career, gaining experience in planning and working drawings on small residential extensions to managing and leading 200+ units for some of the largest house builders in the country. From this mix of experience, James understands the wants and needs of clients and appreciates the professionalism and reliability they expect.

In his spare time, James likes to walk his dog, Bailey, with his wife, spend time with his friends and family and enjoys the cinema and films (especially Lord of the Rings).

Mark started his career at a highly reputable national house builder, learning his trade as a trainee architectural technician whilst simultaneously undertaking a BTEC & HNC/D In Construction. He has experience working on a huge mix of scale projects, from high-rise residential schemes to small-unit refurbishments.

After 5 years, Mark moved from a developer to a more client-facing role at a RIBA chartered architectural practice. This came with more responsibilities, including job-running and leading and chairing client and design team meetings for a variety of projects from one-off multi-million-pound houses through to high density apartment blocks finished to the highest-standard.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys socialising with friends and family, exploring new places whilst also enjoying the cosy nights in with a good book or TV show with his wife and two cats.

Joël is an Architectural Technologist with a 1st Class BSc Hons degree in this field since 2020 with over 11 years of experience in the construction industry. Joël has worked on low- and high-rise residential developments, commercial and refurbishment projects, as well as liaising on site during construction, refurbishment, and remediation periods.

Joël, alongside James and Mark formed Prism Architecture, with an acute focus on ethical and thoughtful technical design-led architecture, tailored made for their client’s requirements.

Joël enjoys taking his dog, Lentil, out on morning walks and taking him to new adventures. He also enjoys playing guitar and music in his spare time with the rest of the time spent playing computer games.

Seb is an Architectural Technologist with a 1st Class BSc Hons degree in this field since 2020 with over 10 years of experience in the construction industry. Throughout his career he has worked on a various seized projects which consist of low and high rise, refurbishments and one off housing, all whilst working closely with the client and the design team to ensure the project run smoothly.

Seb joined Prism Architecture as an Associate on April 2025, becoming the forth member of the team. At Prism he will be looking to bring his previous experience working with housing developers and his technical knowledge, whilst constantly looking to improve his understanding of other sectors of the construction industry.

Seb in his spare time enjoys playing football with his local 6-aside team and going to the gym. When relaxing he enjoys spending time watching films and playing computer games with his friends.
